As a retired library director and a native New Englander, I’ve spent my career driven by access to information and the digital world, by building community, and by fighting for equity and equal access. Wide Open Photography, then, feels like exactly the right name for this next chapter.

My ambition is to create images, composed in the places I feel most at home — Cape Cod, Boston, and Maine — that draw me into their stories and capture my imagination. Each image expresses a moment of solitude.
